WHY ROSTER EARNS ITS PLACE

A real problem.
A specific way to solve it.

Staff availability, shift coverage and planned wages are spread across separate files.

THE SERVICE PROBLEMWHAT ROSTER DOESWHAT CHANGES FOR YOU

01Availability lives in yesterday’s messages.

Staff can maintain weekly availability and apply saved availability templates.

Start the roster with a clearer view of who can work.

02You only see the wage impact after assigning shifts.

Review scheduled hours and wage estimates for the roster period.

Make staffing decisions with the planned cost visible.

03Nobody knows which version is final.

Build in a draft period, publish it and track staff acknowledgements.

Give the team a defined roster to review.

THE CAPABILITIES BEHIND THE BENEFITS

A working roster, with the detail behind it.

06 core capabilities
explained
01

Weekly staff availability

Capture weekly availability in the same system used for scheduling, with saved template sets for recurring patterns.

Spend less time collecting the same answers.
02

Shifts, people & job roles

Assign employees to dated shifts with start and finish times and the job roles your venue uses.

See who is covering the work, not just who is on the list.
03

Draft-to-published workflow

Prepare the roster before publication. Published periods are protected from direct shift edits; further changes use a new draft period.

Keep the team’s published plan distinct from work in progress.
04

Hours & wage estimates

Review total scheduled hours, estimated total wages and a shift-by-shift breakdown based on recorded hourly wages.

Understand the planned wage impact before service.
05

Staff acknowledgements

Record when staff acknowledge a roster and review acknowledgements for the period.

Follow up with people who still need to check the plan.
06

Multiple venues, controlled access

Managers and staff can switch between venues they are authorised to access. Rosters and availability are scoped to the selected location.

Manage more than one venue without mixing their schedules.

Talk through the details ↗

Is the wage figure a payroll calculation?

No. It estimates wages from scheduled hours and the recorded hourly wage. It does not replace payroll, award interpretation, penalties or other employment-cost calculations.

Can staff reuse their regular availability?

Yes. Availability template sets can be saved and applied to a week, so recurring availability does not need to be entered from scratch each time.

Can I keep planning private until the roster is ready?

The draft-to-published workflow separates preparation from a published roster period. Published periods are protected from direct shift edits.

Can I see whether staff have acknowledged the roster?

Yes. Roster acknowledgement records let you review who has acknowledged a published period.
